On January 22, 2006, in Hanoi, under the guidance of Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC) Vu Duc Dam, the “Forum to Promote the Application and Development of Information Technology in Vietnam” was inaugurated.
The forum was attended by leaders from many of the world’s leading IT corporations, including Intel, Microsoft, Cisco, HP, IBM, IDG, and others. This event serves as a bridge between the global IT industry and Vietnam.
The initiative to organize this forum by the MIC aims to enhance dialogue between the Ministry and the IT community.
