On November 21 and 22, in Quang Ngai, the Ministry of Science and Technology, in collaboration with the People’s Committee of Quang Ngai Province, organized a conference titled “Science and Technology Serving Economic and Social Development in the South Central Coast and Central Highlands Regions from 2006 to 2010“.
Nearly 20 scientific reports presented at the conference focused on issues such as selecting plant and animal breeds suitable for the ecological conditions of local areas, and adopting aquaculture techniques for certain seafood species like clam and grouper from some northern provinces to guide the residents of the South Central Coast provinces.
Scientists also discussed solutions for transferring and applying advanced techniques to economic development models in remote, mountainous provinces, aiming to enhance production efficiency and improve the lives of the local population.
