Paulownia fortunei is a fast-growing tree with a straight trunk, wide canopy, large hairy leaves, and a sticky secretion that can absorb dust, purify the air, and withstand harmful gases such as SO2, chlorine, hydrofluoric acid, and nitric acid mist.
Paulownia fortunei is a deciduous tree from the Paulowniaceae family, characterized by its white flowers, reaching heights of up to 27 meters with a trunk circumference of 2 meters. Its leaves are oval-shaped, arranged oppositely, with a velvety white underside. In spring, the flowers bloom before the leaves, forming large, beautiful, fragrant clusters at the tips. The flowers are large and purple, and the seed pods ripen in September to October.
This tree grows very quickly, and it can be harvested in about 5-6 years. The wood of Paulownia fortunei is light, soft, elastic, resistant to warping and cracking, with beautiful grain, good thermal insulation, moisture-resistant, termite-resistant, and difficult to ignite. It is suitable for making plywood, household furniture, and construction materials. Paulownia wood has four basic advantages: it is light, porous, round, and smooth, making it an ideal material for crafting musical instruments and educational supplies.
