The unique noodle designs by this man astonish viewers, proving that any material can be transformed into a work of art.
The creativity of humans is limitless; you would never guess that even seemingly mundane materials can become masterpieces that leave audiences in awe.
The noodles look no different from beautiful artistic creations.
David Rivillo, a chef from Italy, has creatively transformed dry noodles into unique products that resemble stunning works of art.
After sharing his pasta designs on his personal Instagram page, David Rivillo left many people amazed. Currently, he has over 40,000 followers on his account.
David Rivillo shares, “I have enjoyed pasta since I was a child, but I only truly began working with fresh noodles in 2016 when I focused on professional culinary studies in Porto Alegre. Since then, I have made my own noodles and never bought them from the supermarket again.”
Noodles created in various colors and shapes.
However, it wasn’t until 2019 that David Rivillo officially began experimenting with noodle designs. “I experimented with different colors on the noodles, creating my first designs as a tribute to my favorite artist, Carlos Cruz Diez,” David Rivillo said.
The culinary enthusiast has continuously thought and created new beautiful designs. David Rivillo draws inspiration from simple aspects of life, such as nature, architecture, textiles, and sometimes fashion designs.

The collection features many products with intricate patterns and designs that not everyone can achieve. This is the result of David Rivillo’s ongoing self-exploration and research. There are no courses on pasta design or coloring, so most of the time, David Rivillo is self-taught.
He researches and creates distinctive designs while maintaining the structure of the dish, but changing the colors. David Rivillo strives to use natural colors to ensure the quality of the noodles.
“There is so much to accomplish in my designs. This is just the beginning of something wonderful. When you truly care about something, you will never stop exploring and learning. I never thought I would do what I am doing now. Everything is not easy; this is the result of hard work, patience, and effort,” David Rivillo said.
