Facial massage is a simple, easy-to-implement method that takes little time and is cost-effective for achieving beautiful, smooth skin. Regular practice can lead to a radiant complexion and reduced wrinkles, helping to maintain youthful skin.
Before starting the massage, make sure to cleanse your face thoroughly and apply a suitable moisturizer for your skin type.
Step 1: After applying a thin layer of moisturizer on your face, use the tips of four fingers to gently massage the forehead area for about 1-2 minutes. Then, smooth from the forehead to the temples, repeating this motion 10-15 times.
Step 2: Massage the eyebrows and eyes. Use your index finger to glide from the beginning of the eyebrow to the end, and simultaneously use your thumb to pinch the eyebrow for about 1 minute. Press on the acupressure points: Yin Tang (between the eyebrows), Tai Yang (the temples), and the outer end of the eyebrows for 30 seconds each. Close your eyes and gently massage the areas around your eyes and temples with your index fingers.
Step 3: Massage the nose area. Use your middle finger to glide from the sides of the nose up to the bridge and back down, gently squeezing the nostrils. Press on the Ying Xiang acupressure point (next to the nostrils) for 1-2 minutes.
Step 4: Massage the cheeks. Use the palms of your hands to rub both sides of the cheeks, moving outward. Use your fingers to press gently on the acupressure points: Quan Liao (below the cheekbones) and Jia Xie (the jawline), repeating this motion multiple times to firm and smooth the skin.
Step 5: Massage the chin area. Use your palms to rub evenly from right to left and then back again, gently squeezing and pressing the He Gu acupressure point (in the center of the chin).
Step 6: After massaging the face, use both palms to massage down along the jawline and sides of the neck, helping to tighten the skin and prevent fat accumulation beneath the chin.
After the massage, rinse your face with warm water and gently pat it dry with a soft towel, avoiding any irritation to the skin.
In addition to facial massage, to keep your skin glowing and youthful, you can incorporate rinsing your face with rice water daily. Rice water contains rice bran rich in vitamins that help to whiten and cleanse the skin, providing a natural glow. How to use: When rinsing rice, collect the water and let it settle for a while, then use the clear water for washing. Rinse again with warm water to remove any residue. Do this once a day and avoid using old rice water, as the vitamins and minerals will have degraded. With consistent practice, you will achieve amazing skin.
