Research indicates that individuals infected with Covid-19 after vaccination will have “remarkable” immunity.

Researchers from Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) sampled 104 individuals, all of whom received two doses of the Pfizer vaccine. Among them, 42 had never contracted Covid-19, 31 received the vaccine after infection, and 31 were infected after vaccination.
After collecting blood samples from the volunteers, the scientists discovered that the combination of vaccine and natural immunity generates antibodies “at least 10 times stronger than the immunity from vaccination alone.”
Senior co-author Fikadu Tafesse, assistant professor of molecular microbiology and immunology at OHSU School of Medicine, concluded: “Regardless of whether you were infected before or after vaccination, you will still have an extremely strong immune response, with an astonishingly high protection rate.”
Tafesse also noted that the likelihood of infection after vaccination remains high due to the widespread transmission of the virus.
Previously, several new findings suggested that: “each time the virus mutates, the pandemic moves closer to its end stage.”
