Olympus Corporation (Japan) has just launched the world’s smallest medical endoscope. With a diameter of only 3.2 mm, this new device is 0.7 mm thinner than the current smallest endoscope, allowing doctors to easily observe even the most “remote” areas of children’s ears, throats, and nasal cavities.
This device will begin sales in Japan and the United States at the start of next month, priced at 2.1 million yen per unit (approximately $18,600).
