Two men were fishing on a river in Western Australia. However, when they pulled up their catch, they were surprised to find it was a… white-eyed shark (Scientific name: Carcharhinus limbatus) – a species of shark that can thrive in brackish waters!

Before they could fully process the shock, a pair of jaws with sharp teeth emerged from the water. It turned out to be the head of a saltwater crocodile measuring up to 2.5 meters (Scientific name: Crocodylus porosus). It brazenly snatched the shark from the fishermen.
Sharks and crocodiles are two top predators in their respective environments. However, “the river water does not invade the well water,” so when they enter each other’s territory, fierce battles for survival often ensue.
