Terrier biting rat snake and bringing it home.
Specifically, a two-year-old Jack Russell Terrier named Fong Beer, along with two other household dogs, defeated a rat snake. After killing the snake, Fong Beer was seen carrying its body back home.
Ratchapon Kanrawong, the owner of the dog, stated: “The dogs all attacked together, but only Fong Beer bit the snake’s neck. I told it to drop the snake, but for the first few minutes, it didn’t pay attention to me. It really liked the snake.”
Rat snakes are a group of snakes belonging to the colubrid family and range in size from medium to large. They are primarily found in the Northern Hemisphere and usually hunt small rodents like mice and chipmunks, and sometimes even lizards, frogs, and bird eggs. Rat snakes can lie in wait to ambush or actively seek out their prey. They typically constrict their prey before swallowing it whole.
This species of snake is non-venomous and almost harmless. They only attack when provoked and usually avoid humans.
