Renowned for its luxurious jewelry and fashion accessories, Bulgari has just set a world record with its latest product: a wristwatch that is only 1.8mm thick.
The top of this luxurious device is crafted from matte titanium, while the back is made from tungsten carbide – a material commonly used for industrial drill bits.

Bulgari spent three years developing this watch and launched it to coincide with the 10th anniversary of the Octo product line. The Finissimo Ultra has surpassed the previous record for thinness set by the Piaget Altiplano Ultimate Concept by 0.2mm.
The Finissimo Ultra features a monochrome gray color and a strap made of titanium that is only 1.5mm thick. The octagonal dial includes the main time display in the bottom right corner as well as a large QR code in the top left corner.

Bulgari states: “This unique QR code opens up the possibility of connecting to NFT assets and the metaverse, bridging the mechanical world with the digital space.”
According to Watchonista, Bulgari has filed a total of 8 patent applications to develop this watch model. It is no surprise that the Finissimo Ultra is priced at $440,000 or over 10 billion VND.
