11 out of 35 entries in the 6th Green Invention Contest have secured a spot in the finals. The judging panel of the Ministry of Education and Training completed the preliminary round evaluations last weekend. The final round of the competition will take place in Da Nang on December 16.

In the finals, the creators of these 11 projects will present their topics before the judging panel.
According to the contest organizers, most of the projects that reached the finals this year are closely linked to practical requirements and demonstrate high feasibility. Notably, the projects include research on organizing the “Green Planet Soldier” contest using DSX software and a dynamic database to enhance environmental awareness among students, authored by Pham Ngoc Tuan Anh from Ton Duc Thang University in Ho Chi Minh City; developing and perfecting the application of mini hydroponic systems by a team of students from the University of Natural Sciences in Ho Chi Minh City; and using recycled tire and milk can materials for agricultural tools, researched by student Vo Quoc Tien from Can Tho University…
This year marks the 6th edition of the Sony Green Invention Contest, which requires research in the field of information technology to create audiovisual products aimed at promoting environmental education in the community. The judging panel also emphasizes criteria for cleaner production solutions in agriculture and industry for the competing projects. The contest was launched in May.
