Why should you maintain the health of your skin? Because women are attracted to men with beautiful facial skin; at the same time, a “clean” face conveys a positive image. So, try taking care of your face using the following four steps.
Step 1: Cleanse
Purpose: To remove dirt, blackheads, and allow your skin to breathe naturally.
How to do it: Wash your face in the morning and evening with cold water and soap. For better results, lather the soap in your hands before gently applying it to your face. Be sure to press firmly with your fingertips on either side of your nose, as this area tends to be oily, while avoiding the eye area. Finally, rinse thoroughly with water.
Tools: Skin cleansing products available on the market include gels, mousses, and milks. For very oily skin, choose products specifically designed for oily skin.
Step 2: Exfoliate
Purpose: To remove dead skin cells and prepare the skin for shaving. This phase helps your skin feel smooth, making it easier for the razor blade to glide.
How to do it: Once a week, after completing Step 1, apply a small amount of the product to your palm and gently massage it onto your previously damp face, including the neck. Then rinse with water.
Tools: Exfoliating creams or gels. There are options for oily or combination skin.
Note: Ensure the product is specifically for facial exfoliation and not for the body, as the exfoliating particles in body scrubs are larger and can irritate the skin.
Step 3: Moisturize
Purpose: To keep the skin hydrated, maintain elasticity, protect the skin, provide freshness, and prevent age-related wrinkles.
How to do it: Apply a layer of product to your face and neck in the morning and evening. When applying, use your hands to gently massage in circular motions to ensure the product absorbs into the skin.
Tools: If you have oily skin, choose gels or lotions. For dry skin, opt for creams. For sensitive skin, select hypoallergenic products.
Note: Don’t worry too much about the amount if you’re active outdoors, as sun, wind, and sweat can dirty your face.
Step 4: Anti-Aging
Purpose: To prevent crow’s feet around your eyes.
How to do it: Apply the product to the tip of your fingers and gently pat around your eyes.
Tools: Choose products designed to combat aging around the eyes, preferably used in the evening, or morning creams.
Note: Apply the product evenly with gentle upward motions.
