It’s quite sad because the grizzly bear is powerful but cannot catch the eagle.
The North American grizzly bear is a massive predator, the strongest in the bear family. An adult grizzly can weigh between 400 to 600 kg and can stand over 3 meters tall on its hind legs.
Despite its large size and seemingly clumsy appearance, the North American grizzly is incredibly agile, capable of running at speeds of up to 48 km/h, and even faster in short bursts.
To reign supreme in the wild, the grizzly bear’s most formidable weapons are its jaw and claws.
According to scientists, the grizzly’s bite force can reach up to 1,250 PSI, whereas a Siberian tiger’s bite reaches only 950 PSI, enough to crush any animal in the world. Its sharp and long claws enable it to tear apart any foe that dares to cross its path.
The diet of the grizzly is quite diverse, ranging from plant matter such as grasses, flowers, and young shoots to animals like salmon, weasels, birds, and rabbits. They can also attack medium to large animals such as North American mountain sheep, moose, caribou, and bison.
In North America, grizzly bears once roamed from Alaska to Mexico; however, due to a significant decline in their population, they are now primarily found in the United States and Canada. Besides the grizzly bear, this region is also home to another formidable creature, the bald eagle. This bird is the first in the world to be recognized as a national symbol, making it the national bird of the United States.
The bald eagle is a bird of prey in North America and is one of the rulers of the North American skies. It measures approximately 71 to 96 cm in length, has a wingspan of 1.68 to 2.44 m, and weighs between 3 to 6.3 kg.
Unlike other eagle species that scavenge, the bald eagle is a strong predator, capable of soaring in the sky, running on land, and even swimming. Anything within its sight can become its prey.

In the clip, the grizzly bear is focused on hunting along the riverbank when it is suddenly disturbed by the eagle. Near the end of the video, viewers can see the eagle using its talons to hook the grizzly bear. Seeing that it was futile, the bird flaps its wings and flies away, leaving the bear looking bewildered and confused.
Not only are animals subject to the eagle’s playful antics, but many residents in Alaska have also become victims of its mischief.
