Digiworld Corporation has officially introduced the Acer Travelmate 4082 laptop to the market, featuring a dedicated ATI Mobility Radeon X1300 256MB HyperMemory graphics card, a double-layer DVD drive, and a 15.4” WXGA wide screen, priced at $999.
Designed to meet high-performance work needs, the Acer TM 4082 is equipped with a high-speed Intel Centrino Sonoma PM 740 processor running at 1.73GHz, featuring a 2MB L2 cache and a 533MHz front-side bus. It comes with 512MB of DDR2 memory and Dual Channel technology, which enhances data transfer speeds up to twice as fast, along with a 60GB hard drive. The laptop is compact, and its wide screen utilizes Acer’s GridVista technology, allowing users to divide the screen into multiple working windows simultaneously to save time.
Additionally, with HyperMemory technology and a premium 90nm GPU from ATI, the dedicated memory of the graphics card can easily combine with the system’s memory, boosting the total memory to 256MB, making it ideal for running heavy 3D games. Wireless connectivity is provided by the Intel Pro/Wireless 2200BG, adhering to the 802.11b/g standard, along with a V92 modem port and a 10/100Mbps NIC, facilitating seamless online gaming without the need to download.
