According to the Gospels, “The Last Supper” is the final meal that Jesus Christ shared with his disciples before his crucifixion. “The Last Supper” (also known as the Last Supper) is the title of one of the most famous works of the Renaissance master Leonardo da Vinci.
Scholars believe this meal commemorates the Passover, celebrated on the evening of Thursday before Jesus was crucified on Friday. During the supper, as he held bread and wine, Jesus told the disciples: “Do this in remembrance of me.”
According to tradition, the supper took place at a location now known as the Room “The Last Supper” on Mount Zion, just outside the walls of the Old City of Jerusalem.
Slavisa Pesci, an information technology expert, created an interesting visual effect by blurring the painting halfway and overlaying two different perspectives of the artwork.

The results surprised him with the appearance of two Crusader Knights at both ends of the table, and it seems Jesus is even holding a child in the middle.

Recently, a famous Italian composer and computer engineer announced a discovery regarding the hidden musical notes behind Leonardo Da Vinci’s “The Last Supper.” This discovery further enhances the possibilities that the Renaissance genius may have left behind a melody with a melancholic tone.
The arrangement of the bread and the positioning of Jesus’ hands and the apostles are symbolic signs for musical notes
Initially, Pala discovered a five-line musical staff running across the painting. Additionally, the arrangement of the bread on the table, combined with the positions of Jesus’ hands and those of the apostles, are symbolic signs representing musical notes.
According to Pala, this discovery aligns perfectly with Christian symbolism, where bread signifies the body of Christ and hands are used to distribute food. However, merely having signs of musical notes is not enough to create a true melody, until Pala uncovered the key point: this musical staff must be read from right to left – in accordance with Leonardo’s writing style.
“The Last Supper” contains hidden music with a melancholic melody
The results were as expected; when combined, the notes in this musical staff produced a 40-second piece of music with a melancholic melody reminiscent of a requiem for the souls of the departed.
In his book titled “La Musica Celata” (“The Hidden Music”), Pala details his journey in search of the subdued melody hidden behind the iconic painting.
