Beerbelly – a discreet beer pouch disguised as a beer belly (see image) – is selling like hotcakes in the United States. This innovative product was created by three middle-aged men who wanted to enjoy movies or sports games while drinking beer comfortably.
Within five days of launching their website www.thebeerbelly.com, they were amazed to see two million visitors and calls for widespread sales of this product around the world.
The beer pouch, priced at $35, features straps that fit over the shoulder and around the chest, allowing it to be worn under a shirt. This design makes it appear as if the wearer is a wealthy gentleman with a protruding belly, casually entering bars or restaurants.
However, the truth is that this “fake belly” made of plastic can hold up to several liters of beer, ready to serve the wearer.
