| TiVo® Series2™ DT DVR: The First Standalone DVR with Dual Tuner |
TiVo, the world’s leading manufacturer of digital video recorders (DVRs), has just launched its latest product: the TiVo® Series2™ DT DVR. Available for purchase starting May 1, 2006, the TiVo® Series2™ DT DVR is the first standalone DVR with a dual tuner.
The Series2 DT DVR line from TiVo allows users to record two programs simultaneously or watch one program while recording another, ensuring that users never miss their favorite shows.
TiVo also announced that next month, they will introduce an unprecedented feature that enables users to control their TiVo box with a Verizon phone for automatic recording. Later this year, TiVo plans to launch TiVo KidZone, allowing parents to manage the television programs their children watch.
