Websense, a provider of security software and web filtering, and Celestix Networks, a developer of specialized security devices running Windows Server, have announced the integration of the Websense® Web Security Suite® software suite onto the Celestix® MSA device.
The Celestix MSA device, hardened with Windows Server 2003, features the Celestix SlingShot™ management interface and comes pre-installed with Microsoft® Internet Security and Acceleration Server 2004 (ISA 2004). It is now linked with the Websense Web Security Suite, providing a highly flexible and easily manageable security solution within a single device.
By integrating with the Websense Web Security Suite, the Celestix MSA device offers a comprehensive security solution for small and medium-sized enterprises against current internet threats. It also enables customers to easily utilize the pre-installed Websense software, featuring rapid deployment, built-in security infrastructure, and low investment costs. The Web Security Suite is an internet security solution designed to protect businesses from web application threats such as spyware, malware, phishing, and online scams.
Unlike other solutions, the Websense Web Security Suite also prevents the information that spyware and keylogging software transmit whenever they connect back to their servers. Moreover, only the Websense Web Security Suite includes the Websense Web Protection Services™ components—SiteWatcher™, BrandWatcher™, and ThreatWatcher™—which help protect a business’s website, brand, and web servers. All features of the Websense Web Security Suite, including Websense Enterprise®, Real-Time Security Updates™, Instant Messaging (IM) Attachment Manager™, and other functionalities are supported on MSA series devices.
