Is Google really producing a mouse pad that doubles as a USB hub? This sounds like the ‘giant’ is playing a prank on us.
But no, this is entirely true. Google has introduced a new mouse pad that features four USB 1.1 ports. This mouse pad will come with a stylus and a vase-shaped speaker, also from Google.
The four-port USB 1.1 hub may not achieve the high speeds needed for devices with USB connections, but it works well with low-speed peripherals like some other computer mice. The mouse pad measures 280mm x 227mm x 7mm and weighs 508g.
Additionally, the back of the mouse pad is equipped with an anti-slip foam layer to keep it steady while you scroll through large search result pages.
