In just 3 seconds, you can create an autorun function for documents on a CD using the free tool 1st AutoRun Express. Instead of searching through scattered documents in various folders, now when you insert the CD into the drive, the documents will automatically run.
To achieve this, you only need a small free utility called 1st AutoRun Express, which can be downloaded from www.autoruntools.com (file size 990 KB).
Usage Instructions:
After installing and running the program, follow the prompts from 1st AutoRun Express.
Step 1: Select the folder where you will copy the files to the CD.
Step 2: Choose the type of Autorun.
– If you want a file to automatically activate when the CD is inserted into the drive, check the option “Launch a single program or document, without user interaction.”
– If you prefer a window to appear where you can click to choose the document to run, select ‘Display menu and let user choose what to run.’ Click Next. The next window will be where you select the documents.
Step 3: The following windows will ask you to name the window title, the title for the CD, and more. Click Next, then Finish to complete the setup. The remaining task is to copy all the files from the created folder to the CD. And that’s it.
