Recently, Oracle and Singapore Management University (SMU) officially announced a training program for IT professionals focused on designing, building, and managing complex enterprise grid computing infrastructures, titled “Enterprise Grid Computing Architecture“.
The course offers a certification in Enterprise Grid Computing Architecture, combining lectures with practical sessions. Key components of the program include discussions on virtual computing networks and their practical benefits, covering various classes of the virtual cluster model, with a focus on application layer grids, theory and design for application grids, and workshops for creating application grids utilizing Oracle software. Each course will consist of a group of 15 to 20 IT professionals.
SMU aims to certify 60 IT professionals in the field of enterprise grid computing architecture over the next three years. The curriculum for this course will be managed by the School of Information Systems at SMU. For more information, visit www.smu.edu.sg and www.oracle.com.
