Currently, there are hundreds of digital music players available for computers, but if you want something unique and a bit different, you should try the digital music player called “1by1,” which is considered to be the smallest digital music player in the world, with a size of only about 56 KB.
Despite its small size, “1by1 – The Directory Player” can play digital music just as well as many other programs, featuring a full range of functional buttons. The unique aspect of 1by1 is that you can copy it onto a USB drive to use on any computer without the need for complicated installation.
Once you activate 1by1, simply click on “Driver” to have it list all the hard drives on your computer -> navigate to the folder containing your music files for 1by1 to display all the tracks in that folder, then press “Play” for 1by1 to sequentially play all the listed tracks. The listing is extremely detailed, including the file name, file type, size, and creation date.
Although it may not be as flashy as other tools, the number of features in 1by1 is surprisingly extensive. For example:
– Right-clicking on the list of currently playing MP3 files allows you to copy, delete, rename, create playlists, use hotkeys, and find files…
– Access the “Settings” menu to adjust the files in the list using functional tabs like Audio, Decoder, Enhancer, Control, Display… which are very professional.
Additionally, the functional buttons already available on the interface help users manage music files in the folder in various creative ways.
1by1 version 1.55 is completely free and perfectly compatible with all versions of Windows. Users can click here to download it for use.
