1. The First Recorded Birth of 9 Babies

In 2021, Halima Cisse from Mali gave birth to 9 babies at the Ain Borja clinic in Casablanca, Morocco. All 9 children survived, setting a world record.
2. The Strangest Diet

Michel Lotito from France consumed metal and glass throughout his life, starting in 1959. Doctors X-rayed Lotito’s stomach and described his ability to ingest 900 grams of metal daily as unique.
From 1966 onwards, Lotito consumed 18 bicycles, 15 shopping carts, 7 televisions, 6 chandeliers, 2 beds, a pair of skis, a Cessna light aircraft, and a computer.
Lotito passed away from natural causes on June 25, 2007.
3. The Heaviest Twins

In 1978, Billy Leon McCrary, weighing 337 kg, and his twin brother Benny Lloyd, weighing 328 kg, were confirmed as the heaviest twins in the world. Each had a waist measurement of 2.13 m.
Both had normal sizes until the age of 6 and later died from heart failure.
4. The Fastest Blindfolded Motorcycle Driver
In 2003, Billy Baxter from England reached a speed of 265.33 km/h while riding a 1,200 cc Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle blindfolded.

The longest legs in the world belong to Maci Currin from the United States, measuring 135.267 cm (left leg) and 134.3 cm (right leg).
This record was set in 2020.
6. The Most Times Struck by Lightning and Survived

Former ranger Roy C. Sullivan from Virginia, USA, was struck by lightning 7 times but survived.
The first lightning strike occurred in 1942 (causing him to lose a toenail). The other six strikes happened in 1969 (lost an eyebrow), 1970 (left shoulder burned), 1972 (hair burned), 1973 (hair burned and leg burned), 1976 (ankle injury), and 1977 (chest and stomach burns).
He passed away in September 1983.
7. The Most Watches Eaten
In 1998, Kim Seung-do from Seoul, South Korea, ate 5 watches (excluding the straps) in 1 hour and 34 minutes. Mr. Kim consumed up to 600 grams of metal daily and is estimated to have eaten around 4 tons of metal throughout his life.
8. The Longest Time Stuck in an Elevator
The record is held by Kively Papajohn from Limassol, Cyprus. At 76 years old, Kively was stuck in her apartment building’s elevator for 6 days, from December 28, 1987, to January 2, 1988. She survived on the fruit, vegetables, and bread in her shopping bag.

In 2017, Davinder Singh from India typed a 103-character text using his nose in 40.19 seconds. To set this record, he typed the following sentence: “The Guinness World Records challenged me to type this sentence with my nose in the fastest time.”

From December 1969 to April 2013, Arthur Blessitt from Florida, USA, walked a total of 64,752 km.
He visited all 7 continents, including Antarctica, traversed 321 countries, island groups, and territories while carrying a 3.7 m wooden cross and preaching the Bible throughout his journey.
13. The Fuzziest Family

Victor Gomez, Gabriel Ramos Gomez, Luisa Lilia De Lira Aceves, and Jesus Manuel Fajardo Aceves (all from Mexico) are four members of a family of 19 spanning 5 generations, suffering from a rare condition known as “congenital generalized hypertrichosis.” The women are covered with a light to medium layer of hair, while the men have thick hair covering about 98% of their bodies, excluding their hands and feet.
