The integrated solutions and services from Motorola represent a significant first step for Wateen in launching broadband services in Pakistan and entering the digital revolution. This collaboration will enable access to networks, cable modems, multimedia core systems based on Internet Protocol (IMS), and services aimed at quickly and cost-effectively connecting the unconnected.
The subscriber and access points utilizing WIMAX technology based on the 802.16e standard will allow Wateen Telecom to offer broadband data services, including personal and business voice services, Internet access, Virtual Private Network (VPN) services, and public access points.

Integrating Motorola’s IMS solutions enables Wateen Telecom to offer customers VoIP services with advanced features such as caller ID, voicemail, call forwarding, and additional services like prepaid subscriptions and account management through a user-friendly website.
