A Fire Rainbow Appears Right After the Opening Ceremony of the Ba Den Mountain Spring Festival, Delightting Visitors
A rare fire rainbow appeared at Ba Den Mountain.
On the morning of January 26 (the 5th day of the Lunar New Year), many visitors captured images of the fire rainbow that appeared over Ba Den Mountain in Tay Ninh.
According to scientists, a fire rainbow occurs when specific conditions are met: light must pass through tiny clouds or stratocumulus clouds containing ice crystals at a specific angle; the sun must reach an altitude of at least 58 degrees above the horizon. Furthermore, the ice crystals, which separate the light into colors, must be hexagonal in shape and their faces must run parallel to the ground.
Given these conditions, the occurrence of a fire rainbow is quite rare.
The fire rainbow appeared just after the opening ceremony of the Ba Den Mountain Spring Festival, bringing great excitement to the visitors enjoying the festivities here.
