According to Al-Nasr, the construction of the future mega-city is progressing on schedule. A new video released by the project management team reveals actual footage of four large-scale complexes within the project, including Sindalah, The Line, Trojena, and Oxagon, as reported by Menafn on January 22.
“If we want to address the challenges of tomorrow, we must confront them today, no matter how difficult it may be. At NEOM, we are tackling some of the most urgent issues humanity faces by bringing together the most elite community of scholars to create and build a sustainable future,” shared Nadhmi Al-Nasr, CEO of NEOM.

Sindalah is a luxury island project being built at the intersection of the Mediterranean Sea and the Red Sea, allowing yachts and luxury boats to navigate from across the globe. This resort will feature a beach club, yacht club, spa, fitness center, 51 luxury retail outlets, a golf course, three hotels with 413 rooms, and a large marina. Sindalah will cover a total area of over 840,000 square meters.
The Line is a smart city designed to accommodate 9 million people, spanning an area of 34 square kilometers. The ideal climate year-round ensures that residents can enjoy the surrounding natural landscapes. Residents will also have access to all amenities within a 5-minute walk or via high-speed rail that traverses the city from end to end in 20 minutes. The Line is car-free and emissions-free, operating on 100% renewable energy. The city is 200 meters wide, 170 kilometers long, and situated 500 meters above sea level.
Trojena is a ski resort located 50 kilometers from the coastal area of the Gulf of Aqaba, with elevations ranging from 1,500 meters to 2,600 meters and covering nearly 60 square kilometers. Leveraging the varying climate in the region, where winter temperatures drop below 0 degrees Celsius and year-round temperatures are usually more than 10 degrees Celsius cooler than other areas, Trojena will offer outdoor skiing and adventure sports, expected to be completed by 2026.
Oxagon is a city designed in an octagonal shape at the edge of NEOM. Oxagon will adhere to principles of living in harmony with nature and aims to be one of the world’s most advanced logistics centers, integrating a state-of-the-art seaport and airport. This city will be carbon emissions-free and will use 100% clean energy. Oxagon will employ cutting-edge technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT), integrating humans and machines, predictive artificial intelligence, and robotics. The project will serve seven sectors, including sustainable energy, autonomous transport, clean water initiatives, sustainable food production, healthcare, technology and digital manufacturing (including telecommunications, space technology, and robotics), and modern construction methods.
