When connected to a Draft 802.11n router using Intensi-fi technology, this card supports speeds of 270 Mb/s, compared to the 54 Mb/s offered by the 802.11g technology. The product is also backwards compatible with standards 802.11a, 802.11b, and 802.11g.
With dual-band capabilities, the 802.11n technology easily overcomes challenges such as multiple users accessing the network, heavy graphic gaming, high-definition video streaming, and transferring large files. Users can enjoy web browsing even in areas that typically experience signal loss with older technology.
This device features dual bands and is compatible with Dell’s XPS and Inspiron laptop lines. The Dell Network Assistant software simplifies the installation and management of wireless networks and is typically pre-installed on the latest laptop models the company produces.
The product is priced at $59.
