While fishing with a friend in Massachusetts, USA, Michael Ganley unexpectedly spotted a turtle swimming nearby. He quickly pulled it ashore.
As the turtle squirmed in Michael’s hands, his friend cautioned him, “Hey, be careful, it might bite your finger.” However, Michael ignored the warning. Instead, he continued to play with the turtle and even excitedly leaned in to give it a kiss.
Just as Michael brought the turtle close to his face, it stretched its neck and bit him right on the mouth. Caught off guard, he could only cry out in pain. Fortunately, the turtle’s bite was not too severe, so Michael seemed to only experience pain without any bleeding or scratches.
Previously, a man in Russia found himself in a similarly humorous situation when he lifted a turtle and kissed it for a photo taken by a friend. As a result, he ended up getting bitten on the tongue by the creature.
