Chased by a rhinoceros, a man, terrified, quickly climbed a tree to save his life. This frightening moment was captured at Kaziranga National Park in Assam, India.
In the video, an aggressive rhinoceros is seen chasing a mahout. Out of sheer panic, the mahout climbed a tree to escape the pursuit. However, the rhinoceros, accompanied by its calf, approached the base of the tree and “warned” the man.
Upon noticing the situation, tourists nearby attempted to drive the massive animal away. Fortunately, the mahout was not attacked by the rhinoceros.

Rhinoceroses belong to five species and are found primarily in Africa and Asia. They are considered “living relics” from prehistoric times and are among the largest and most powerful land animals.
A distinctive feature of rhinoceroses is their protective skin, which is composed of layers of collagen thick enough to resemble armor, especially their uniquely shaped horn on the nose. While this horn adds strength to the rhinoceros, it also puts them at risk due to intense poaching.
Despite their seemingly gentle appearance, it is unwise to provoke this animal. If feeling “challenged,” a black rhinoceros is ready to kill its adversary.
