An English treasure hunter experienced a “once-in-a-lifetime discovery” when he found a gold nugget with a unique shape resembling a map of the United Kingdom. Jonathan Needham, 54 years old, was astonished to uncover this “treasure” on November 1st, at the border between Staffordshire and Derbyshire.
The nugget is compact, measuring nearly 3 cm in length and over 1 cm in width, yet weighs a remarkable 10.3 grams. What makes it even more special is its shape, with intricate curves vividly mimicking the outlines of England, Wales, and Scotland.
