The buffalo stands 1.7 meters tall, weighs over 1.5 tons, and is valued at more than 69 billion VND, gaining attention not only for its high price but also for its impressive lineage.
According to India, a three-day National Farmers Fair and Agricultural Industry Exhibition was held at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Agricultural University in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh.
The main attraction of this exhibition was the appearance of a buffalo named Anmol from Sirsa, Haryana. This tank-like livestock is sure to astonish you with its price.
Many were amazed at the buffalo’s exorbitant price.
The buffalo is valued at approximately 23 crore Rupees (over 69 billion VND), meaning if Anmol’s owner sells it, they could buy around 15 Mercedes-Benz cars priced at 1.5 crore Rupees (4.5 billion VND) each or two Rolls-Royces priced at 12 crore Rupees (36 billion VND) each.
Jagat Singh, Anmol’s owner, stated that Anmol has won several awards over the past eight years. Speaking about its daily diet—a lavish meal consisting of 5 kg of milk, 4 kg of sweet pomegranates, 30 bananas, 20 protein-rich eggs, and a quarter kilogram of almonds, along with gulkand and livestock feed. Anmol also bathes twice daily and enjoys being massaged with mustard and almond oils.
Anmol’s massive physique has attracted crowds. Singh mentioned that the buffalo’s semen is sold for 4-5 lakh Rupees (120 – 150 million VND) a month, and a group from Sirsa regularly collects its semen for distribution.
Notably, Anmol belongs to the Murrah breed, making its semen rare. The owner of this buffalo spends 60,000 Rupees (18 million VND) each month on its diet and earns 4-5 lakh Rupees (120 – 150 million VND) in profit each month from semen sales.
Hundreds of visitors from various places attended the fair to catch a glimpse of Anmol. Many took selfies with this precious buffalo.
The event was inaugurated by Uttar Pradesh Agriculture Minister Surya Pratap Shahi and State Minister Baldev Aulakh.
