Daido Steel Corporation, a Japanese company, has successfully produced the highest corrosion-resistant stainless steel to date.
The manufacturer has utilized the latest metallurgical technology along with special additives, resulting in steel that exhibits 25-30% greater oxidation resistance and corrosion resistance compared to existing types. With these properties, the new product is particularly useful for manufacturing automobile parts, milling blades, and equipment in chemical plants. The product is set to hit the market in 2007.
