Emergency Whistle: |
In the face of the imminent threat of natural disasters, more and more families in Japan are preparing for such situations by keeping essential food and survival tools on hand. Below are some of the most necessary items for a natural disaster.
– Emergency Whistle: With a frequency of 3 kHz, the sound of this whistle can save your life if you are trapped in a hidden area after an earthquake.
– Compressed Clothing: T-shirts and shorts are compressed into a small bag measuring 110 x 70 x 26 mm. Simply unseal it, and the clothing is ready for you to wear.
– Hand-Cranked Flashlight: The pump button located under the flashlight allows you to generate enough power to illuminate the LED bulb. Just pump and release for one minute, and you can light the flashlight for 8 minutes.

Survival Food Backpack |
– Survival Food Backpack: This fire-resistant polyester backpack contains many essential items for survival, always kept in a place where you can grab it and run immediately.
– Water Container with 3-Year Shelf Life: A non-woven fabric is adhered to the inside of the container, acting as an optical semiconductor that keeps the water safe for drinking for up to 3 years. The container should be placed in a bright area, as its photochemical effect uses light to kill bacteria in the water. The container holds 20 liters.
– Protective Helmet: This helmet protects your head and neck from burns, injuries from falling objects, and flying shards of glass. The fabric contains aluminum. Many elementary schools in Japan require each student to have one on hand at school.
– Dehydrated Rice: Pre-cooked rice is dehydrated using a special method and then repackaged. Before eating, simply soak it in water for 60-70 minutes or in hot water for 20-30 minutes.
– Freeze-Dried Vegetables: These vegetables are frozen and then freeze-dried. To restore their fresh flavor, just soak them in water.
– Candle with 100-Hour Burn Time: If a disaster strikes at night, you need a candle. This candle burns for 100 hours, enough for 10 days if lit for 10 hours each day.
– Portable Stove Set: This stove set includes a pot for boiling about 1 liter of water and cooking food in your safe location.
– Waterless Shampoo: If drinking water is scarce after a disaster, there may not be enough water to wash your hair. However, you can simply spray this waterless shampoo on your hair, rub it in, and then wipe it clean with a towel or paper.
