The International Conference on Stem Cells, Aging, and Cancer commenced yesterday in Singapore, aiming to explore the latest advancements in stem cell biology and aging that can be applied to cancer treatment.
This is the first scientific conference focused on stem cells. Nearly 500 leading scientists in the biomedical field from the United States, Europe, and Asia are expected to attend this week-long conference.
“By conducting systematic research, the scientific community can acquire extensive scientific data in a shorter time frame and space, uncover more discoveries, and re-evaluate their research through other inventions and findings,” stated Singapore’s Minister for Community Development, Youth and Sports, Vivian Balakrishnan, during the opening ceremony of the conference.
