For many of us, the beach is a vast expanse of water and sky without visible shores. Beaches can typically accommodate thousands of people on their sandy shores. However, there are some beaches around the world with very “modest” sizes, even just enough for 1-2 people to swim at a time, yet they still attract countless visitors. The tiny beach in Australia is one such place.
This mini beach is located near Greenly Beach in the southwestern region of Australia. It is roughly the size of a large swimming pool. The entrance to this tiny beach features a large, fine sandy area, and the water is incredibly clear. Not far from there is the Rock Pool, a natural rock pool. Many people even refer to this tiny beach as a natural bathtub created by the gods.

It is known that this tiny beach was formed naturally. According to scientists, it was created due to the effects of wind, sand, and tides, which have carved out a depression in the sand near Greenly Beach. Water from Greenly Beach seeps onto the sandy surface, creating a small, clear beach that never runs dry. The natural shape of this beach is also quite unique.
This tiny beach can only accommodate 1 to 2 people at a time. In reality, the total area of the beach is larger, but the portion that is deep enough for swimming is quite limited. However, this allows visitors to swim freely without fear of it being too deep or too shallow. Moreover, swimming here is safer because it is far from larger waves, avoiding the surfboard riders. With the uniqueness of this mini beach, tourists are thrilled to swim and take photos here.
Right near the mini beach is the famous Greenly Beach. Greenly Beach is also a beautiful beach with a golden sand stretch extending up to 1km inland and large waves. The waves here are an average of only 1 meter high. However, Greenly Beach has very strong waves and many rocks underneath, so locals often advise tourists to exercise caution when swimming or surfing there.

The beach is surrounded by rocky outcrops, with some coral reefs in the center. To the left of Greenly Beach is a pool enclosed by rocks. Swimming in this pool is highly dependent on the tides. When the tide is high, it can become dangerous, and swimming there is not advisable.
The best time to visit Greenly Beach is during the summer months when the tide is low. The summer months in South Australia are from December to February. Not only is it a place for swimming, but Greenly Beach is also a perfect camping destination. There are about 20 camping spots overlooking the beach on the sand dunes with pathways leading to the shore.

Most of these campsites are free. According to local advice, visitors should camp overnight here to enjoy the sunset and fully appreciate the beauty of Greenly Beach. Adjacent to the beautiful beaches is Greenly Hill, where visitors can hike to catch the sunrise.
