Bac Giang: Numerous Poultry Deaths Reported
In recent days, many households in the two hamlets of Trung Dong and Bai Xanh, Van Trung Commune (Yen The District, Bac Giang) have reported a series of poultry deaths. As of October 29, over 800 birds have died, including 516 ducks, with the remainder being chickens and geese.
The provincial Animal Health Department has collected samples for testing, organized the destruction of all deceased poultry, and managed the remaining live birds in the affected households. Local authorities have also cordoned off the area where the poultry died to prevent the spread of disease.

Da Nang: Poultry Farming Banned in Urban Areas
The Department of Fisheries and Agriculture has recently issued a document to various districts regarding the implementation of measures to prevent avian influenza. Accordingly, residents are advised to limit contact with poultry, even healthy ones.
The city of Da Nang has also established regulations prohibiting poultry farming and slaughtering in urban areas, particularly in densely populated regions.
