Quickly Enter Website Addresses
Are you tired of typing out full addresses like http://www.website.com? Now, you can save some energy by entering just the website name into the Address Bar. Hold down Ctrl while pressing Enter, and “www” and “.com” will be automatically added. Note that this trick only works for website addresses with the “.com” suffix.
Magic with the Mouse Scroll Wheel
Try holding down the Shift key and scrolling the mouse wheel in the Explorer window. The direction of the scroll wheel will function similarly to the Back and Forward buttons. This trick will make your web browsing much easier.

Clearing the Website List in Internet Explorer
After browsing the web extensively, your Address bar is likely filled with website addresses you’ve visited. If you find this bothersome, you can clear the list by going to Start > Run > typing “regedit” and selecting My ComputerHKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftInternet ExplorerTypedURLs. All the website addresses you have visited are listed in the right column; simply highlight them and delete. Whenever the website list gets too long, you can use this method to clear it.
Changing the Title Bar Content in IE
In the IE window, you’ll easily recognize the phrase Microsoft Internet Explorer prominently displayed in the title bar. Windows allows you to change this text through a simple process. Go to Start > Run > type “regedit”, and select My ComputerHKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftInternet ExplorerMain. Look for the Window Title entry and input your own phrase. If the Window Title entry doesn’t exist, you can create it by right-clicking, selecting String Value, and entering the name and value as described above. Click OK and reopen the IE window to see the change.
