Week 1, Issue 1: Article 1: How to Print a List of Shortcuts in Microsoft Word
Using keyboard shortcuts can significantly speed up your document processing, making text editing much quicker. If you’re not familiar with many of these shortcuts and want to find a list of them, it’s quite simple. Microsoft Word can automatically list all the shortcuts for you:
1. Go to ToolsMacroMacro… (or use the Alt+F8 key combination)
A Macro dialog box will appear:
2. Select Word Commands in the Macros dialog, and you will see the Macros dialog box:
3. Here, look for List Commands (or type List Commands into the Macro name box).
4. Click the Run or Step Into button.
The List Commands dialog will appear, allowing you to choose to list shortcut commands.
5. Choose Current menu and keyboard settings: to list the commands that have shortcut keys assigned (available for use) in List Commands.
Or select All Word commands: to list all commands that have and have not been assigned shortcut keys (you can also assign more yourself) in Microsoft Word.
6. Click the OK button -> The result will print a list of the shortcuts used in Microsoft Word:
