ArcSoft has just released version 6.31 of its graphic software Funhouse in December 2005. This is considered the most advanced and user-friendly “face merging” tool available today. 
For the majority of non-professional graphic users, achieving a truly professional “face merge” using software like Photoshop or Corel Draw can be incredibly challenging. However, Funhouse 6.31 makes this task as easy as… reaching into your pocket.
After installation and successful registration, Funhouse 6.31 provides a variety of modern tools that guide you step-by-step through the face merging process until you achieve your desired result. While achieving face merging in Photoshop or Corel Draw may require skilled users to spend an entire day learning and experimenting, Funhouse 6.31 allows even the most inexperienced users to succeed in just a few minutes.
Steps for Face Merging:
1. Get Template: Users can select various templates to merge onto someone’s face. These templates are incredibly diverse, allowing you to choose from themes such as sports, famous movie stars, greeting card designs, cartoons, and statues, among others. Funhouse 6.31 comes with around 150 pre-made templates available for face merging.
2. After selecting the template, the next step is Get Photo, where you choose an existing image to merge with the template, ideally a photo of yourself (or your loved one) in JPG format. Once selected and you click OK, your face will immediately appear on the chosen template.
3. The third step Fine – Tune allows you to adjust the merged image in various ways such as rotating, zooming in, or zooming out… to perfectly fit the template. Fine – Tune is a highly advanced image adjustment tool that can extract images from video clips, with capabilities to adjust brightness, contrast, sharpness, and color tone…
4. Once you have aligned the face with the template and clicked OK, you move on to the Add Text stage, where you can add engaging captions to your merged image. Add Text is a versatile text editing tool that allows for various formatting options such as bold, italic, color, size, etc. After fine-tuning the text and clicking OK, the text box will appear in the merged image, and users can simply move it to the most suitable position.
At this point, the face merging process is considered complete. Click Save As to save your “masterpiece.”
5. Additionally, the Print Preview feature allows you to print this image, and the Send option within Add Text enables users to send their creations via the integrated email feature in Funhouse 6.31.
As a graphics processing tool, the Funhouse 6.31 package is over 90MB. Users can download a trial version to use for 15 days.
Through our usage experience, we found that Funhouse 6.31 is not just a simple face merging tool for casual fun; it is an extremely versatile and useful image merging tool.
