Kanguru Solutions Launches Enhanced 100GB BioSTOR USB Drive with Biometric Security
Kanguru Solutions, a leading manufacturer of hard drives, has just unveiled the Kanguru BioSTOR USB drive with a capacity of 100GB, featuring an improved biometric security system that can store up to five fingerprints, surpassing its previous models.
This enhanced security mode identifies users through their fingerprints or thumbprints and allows access to the stored data only when the fingerprint verification is successful.
Thanks to this security feature, users can rest assured against data theft, thanks to its highly accurate and user-friendly recognition capabilities. The biometric sensor is integrated into the drive, enabling data access once identification is complete.
Both the fingerprint images and the security software needed to operate the Kanguru BioSTOR are stored within the drive itself. The Kanguru BioSTOR boasts encryption speeds of up to 1.6 Gbit/sec. Additionally, the drive automatically locks when disconnected from the PC to protect the encrypted data stored on it. Furthermore, a standout feature of the Kanguru BioSTOR is its ability to recognize up to five different fingerprints.
Compatible with various versions of Windows operating systems including 98/SE/ME/2000/XP, the Kanguru BioSTOR offers users a range of options with capacities from 40GB to 100GB. With its compact size (6.35 – 8.9 cm) and excellent data protection, the Kanguru BioSTOR is priced between $229 and $349.
