The Mystery of Sacsayhuamán and Mysterious Tiahuanaco

In South America, there are two mysterious places: Sacsayhuaman and the city of Tiwanaku, which attract a large number of archaeologists from around the world.

At the mysterious Tiwanaku, archaeologists discovered an astronomical calendar in the dried mud, providing evidence that the beings who created and utilized this calendar possessed a civilization and culture far superior to modern humanity. Additionally, they made another strange discovery: the Great God Statue. This statue, carved from a single block of pink rock, measures 8.5 meters in length and weighs over 30 tons, found within the Temple of the Old Gods. Scientists have been unable to explain the hundreds of intricate symbols on the statue’s clothing and the primitive yet remarkably advanced construction techniques used to preserve it. Due to the primitive nature of this construction, the site is referred to as the Temple of the Old Gods.

Belami and Aron, in their book “The Great God Statue of Tiwanaku”, provided relatively reasonable explanations for these symbols. They suggest that these symbols recorded extensive astronomical knowledge, based on the fact that the Earth is round. Their views are entirely consistent with those of Horbeca in his book “The Satellite Doctrine.” Notably, Horbeca’s book was published in 1930, five years before the discovery of the god statue. “The Satellite Doctrine” indicates that a satellite was once drawn towards Earth. As the satellite approached, Earth’s rotation slowed significantly, eventually leading to the satellite breaking into pieces, forming the Moon. The symbols on the god statue accurately document the theories surrounding this astronomical phenomenon. At that time, a year on Earth was 290 days long, and the satellite orbited Earth 427 times each year. Therefore, the astronomical calendar recorded on the god statue reflects events from 27,000 years ago. Belami and Aron wrote: “In summary, the impression left by the inscriptions on the god statue is a record for future generations.”

To be precise, the god statue is a very ancient artifact. Simply stating that “this is an ancient god statue” is not sufficient; scientists need a more accurate explanation. If Belami and Aron’s interpretations are valid, one must question: does even building a house require learning from those who possessed such astronomical knowledge? Where did they acquire this knowledge? Could it be from an extraterrestrial civilization? Regardless, the statue and the astronomical calendar demonstrate the complexity of knowledge that leaves us in awe.

The city of Tiwanaku is located on a plateau 5,000 meters above sea level and is filled with mysteries. Starting from Cusco in the Viceroyalty, it takes several days by sea and train to reach the excavation site. The scenery of this plateau resembles another planet:

In terms of health, for someone who is not a local, it is difficult to endure the conditions here due to the low pressure, which is about one-third of that at sea level; the oxygen content in the atmosphere is extremely low, only one-third of the normal level. However, there was once a city on this plateau. Now, only a pile of ruins remains, filled with ancient, unfathomable secrets. The walls of Tiwanaku were built with basalt blocks weighing 150 tons, stacked on stones weighing 70 tons. The outer surfaces of the stones are polished, and the precision of the joint angles is absolutely exact, connected using copper dowels, yet they fit together very tightly. On some stones weighing about 10 tons, archaeologists discovered deep holes of up to 3 meters, the purpose of which remains unexplained to this day.

From a raised stone, one can see large polished slabs of stone below, measuring up to 5 meters long, along with stone pipes about 2 meters long and 1 meter wide, resembling discarded toys scattered on the ground. These artifacts may have resulted from some great catastrophe, and these pipes are crafted with a level of finesse that surpasses even modern precision concrete pipes. The ancestors of the Tiwanaku people did not have advanced tools; how did they create such intricately designed pipes? This remains unexplained to this day.

In a restored courtyard, archaeologists found a jumble of stone carvings of heads. Upon closer inspection, these heads represent many different human types: thin-lipped individuals, thick-lipped individuals, long-nosed individuals, flat-nosed individuals, individuals with large, thick ears, individuals with small, thin ears, individuals with sharp features, and gentle individuals, along with some heads adorned with strange hats. Why are there so many different human types?

There is also a Gate of the Sun made from a single large stone weighing about 10 tons. On either side of the Gate are square reliefs surrounding a statue resembling a non-deity (a god who can fly). The legend of Tiwanaku tells that long ago, a spaceship descended from the sky. From the spaceship emerged a woman named Malianna, tasked with becoming the “Great Woman” of Earth. Malianna had only four fingers, with webbing between them. The great mother Malianna bore 70 children for Earth before returning to the sky. In Tiwanaku, there is also a stone wall depicting a creature with four fingers, although the dating of this artwork has yet to be determined.

In addition to Tiwanaku, another notable site is the fortress of Sacsayhuaman, located less than 900 meters from the famous Inca city. It is hard to imagine how the inhabitants of that time used technology to select massive stones weighing over 150 tons from the quarries, transport them far away, and then carve them into the defensive fortress of Sacsayhuaman. After carving four layers, they transported the fortress to a volcanic area. This enormous stone has been intricately and meticulously sculpted, featuring a trapezoidal shape with sloping sides, eye cavities, and spiral decorative patterns, creating an unprecedented grand stone structure. Is this not a leisure pursuit for the ancient Incas? Yet, it is difficult to conceive that the ancient Incas could extract, transport, and carve these colossal stones into such a magnificent fortress using only their hands and strength. Surely, accomplishing this feat required tremendous power. But what was the purpose of the ancient Incas in doing this, and how did they achieve it?

Additionally, over 800 meters away from the enormous stone, archaeologists discovered a crystalline basalt, a type of rock that can only be formed from molten stone at extremely high temperatures.

In the overgrown grassland of Tiwanaku, there are also small mountains that are undoubtedly human-made. The flat-topped mountains cover an area of 5,000 m2. It remains unknown whether these mountains contain any architectural materials. To this day, no one has investigated this marvel.
