The World Health Organization (WHO) and the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) have introduced a new diagnostic tool that can identify HIV/AIDS within 30 minutes.
This rapid diagnostic tool for HIV/AIDS was developed by Kehua Biotech (China) and features a straightforward testing process that yields quick and accurate results.

With this new tool, a single drop of blood from the patient mixed with a small amount of a special reagent can provide an HIV test result in just 30 minutes. WHO and UNICEF announced that this diagnostic tool will be exported to countries in Asia, Africa, Europe, and Latin America.
According to WHO data, there are currently 40 million people worldwide living with the HIV virus, with about 90% unaware of their infection due to a lack of rapid and effective diagnostic tools.
