A survey of 1,700 companies in Europe conducted by Dynamics Markets revealed that 42% of network administrators admit they do not automatically back up data on laptops and other mobile devices.

When a regulatory body from the UK government audited cigarette pricing and requested a review of all discussions regarding pricing between Somerfield and its suppliers, they only took 15 minutes to compile the emails and transfer them to a CD. In contrast, lawyers needed four weeks to gather all the data before the email backup system was implemented.
