While the mysteries surrounding the monolith that appeared in Nevada remain unsolved, a similar structure has unexpectedly “popped up” in northern Colorado, in the western United States.
The Mysterious Monolith was discovered north of Horsetooth Reservoir, and no one knows how this shiny 2.4-meter tall structure came to be there, CNN reported on June 30.
Lori Graves, owner of Morning Fresh Dairy Farm in Bellvue, told local station KDVR that she has no idea how the gleaming structure ended up on her property.

“I don’t know where it came from, but I almost don’t want to spoil the mystery surrounding it,” Graves told KDVR. “I won’t be asking people about it.”
The mysterious structure is attracting many visitors.
“This isn’t something you get to see every day,” shared an anonymous visitor.
Another visitor said, “We love mysteries, so today we decided to come here and bring the kids to see it too.”
Visitors continue to flock to the site.
“I know the monolith has appeared in several places like Utah and Nevada,” remarked one visitor.
They are curious about who built this mysterious structure and why.
“This is really intriguing to us,” another visitor added.
Although the idea that the mysterious structure could be of extraterrestrial origin is appealing, visitors have noted evidence suggesting it was man-made.
One visitor shared, “You can see the concrete and it looks like bolts are securing the monolith to the ground. That seems pretty human-made to me, so I rule out the possibility of aliens.”
Another visitor suggested it might be a way for someone to attract public attention.
Whether from another world or not, the monolith continues to draw interest from both tourists and social media users.
Many passersby are stopping to take photos while some drones fly above the structure to observe the solid form.
“It’s very shiny, the monolith reflects light very well,” said one visitor. “It’s a bit smaller than I expected.”
Just last week, the Las Vegas Police Department in Nevada announced they had relocated another mysterious monolith from a mountain range north of the city due to public safety and environmental concerns. This previous monolith was discovered near Gass Peak, a mountain about 32 kilometers north of Las Vegas, within the Nevada National Wildlife Refuge.
The Las Vegas Police Department posted on X that the monolith was transported to an undisclosed location while authorities figured out a reasonable way to handle it.
Earlier, a similar monolith was reported in a remote area of Utah in November 2020 and disappeared a few days later.
Similar objects have also been spotted worldwide in the United Kingdom, Romania, and other locations, adding to its mysterious allure.
