A record-breaking event measuring bone density, along with free consultations for bone health issues, will be organized by Anlene starting this weekend in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
In Ho Chi Minh City, the program will kick off at 6 AM on Sunday, February 26, at the City Party Committee Hall and will last for 12 hours. In Hanoi, the event will take place at the Hai Ba Trung Gymnasium, starting at 6 AM on March 5 and continuing until 8 PM the same day.
According to the organizers, each location will feature six of the latest bone density measurement machines. Participants will also have the opportunity to enjoy cultural performances and engage in networking activities.
In Vietnam, the Institute of Nutrition reports that approximately 1 million people over the age of 60 are at high risk of bone fractures due to osteoporosis. A similar record was set in Shanghai, China, at the end of 2005, where 2,500 women participated in a 12-hour event, and the organizers hope to surpass this record with the upcoming event.
