Hue University Medical Center Successfully Performs Minimally Invasive Gastric Surgery on 85-Year-Old Patient
Hue University Medical Center has successfully performed a minimally invasive laparoscopic gastric surgery on an 85-year-old patient who was admitted on February 18 with symptoms of hypertension, coma, and an inability to swallow food.
After thorough diagnosis and testing, the doctors decided to intervene using the laparoscopic gastric surgery technique to minimize blood loss, reduce complications, ensure the patient’s health, and lower treatment costs.
The patient’s health has now stabilized and they are expected to be discharged soon.
