Passionate about Minecraft—a popular building game—Christopher Slayton has impressively created black holes, stars, and galaxies…
Christopher Slayton, 18 years old, has been an avid Minecraft gamer for a long time. With a game that allows people to build castles, cliffs, and various objects using cubes, Slayton had a bold idea.
The 18-year-old spent over two months creating black holes, stars, and galaxies that are observable from Earth, using just a personal computer and the pre-installed Minecraft game.
After sharing his work on social networks like Twitter, Reddit, and YouTube, Slayton’s achievements caused an online sensation: his YouTube video garnered 3.7 million views within a week of posting. On Reddit and Twitter, people expressed their amazement at the level of detail and the vastness of his model.
“What am I doing with my life?” Slayton remarked in the video description. “I sat in my tiny room, drenched in sweat for eight hours trying to create the curves of a black hole.”

According to Slayton, the first challenge he faced was trying to replicate the dark and light sides of planets like Earth and Mars in a game that lacks a light source.
He also had to carefully study photographs and apply advanced mathematics to recreate continents and the surface of a planet with the utmost accuracy.
With his project, Slayton hopes to engage the community and attract investors to projects related to the multiverse, superclusters, or multidimensional concepts through Minecraft.
