The mysterious monoliths that emerged during the COVID-19 pandemic around the globe have made a reappearance, this time in the Nevada desert, USA.
This metallic monolith, standing approximately 3 meters tall, was first discovered in Utah, California, as well as in Wales and Romania in 2020. Recently, it has appeared near Gass Peak in the Nevada desert.

The Las Vegas search and rescue team discovered this reflective monolith. On June 18, the Las Vegas Police posted on social media: “We see a lot of strange things when people hike unprepared for the weather, without enough water… but look at this!”
The Las Vegas Police also urged the public to take precautions before hiking, including checking the weather forecast, bringing extra gear, water, food, lighting, and fully charged phones. Gass Peak is the highest peak in the Las Vegas Range in southern Nevada, located about 32 km north of Las Vegas.
Local authorities seem unable to explain how this monolith reached its location.
The first monolith was accidentally discovered in 2020 in a desert near Moab, Utah. Shortly after it was found, it mysteriously vanished. Since then, additional monoliths have appeared and disappeared without any explanation.
This has sparked conspiracy theories related to extraterrestrials, while some believe the appearance of these structures is a sophisticated prank with coordinated efforts.
