At the recently held Intel Developer Forum in the United States, Seagate unveiled several unique hard drives, including a portable hard drive that connects to computers via a distinctive wireless USB.
This is a 2.5-inch SATA hard drive with a capacity of 120GB and a rotational speed of 7,200 RPM, part of the Momentus series, touted as the world’s first portable hard drive equipped with a wireless USB port.
Momentus is a high-end hard drive line specifically designed for laptops and offers more advanced features compared to desktop hard drives.
Additionally, Seagate will introduce three more high-capacity hard drives, starting from 250GB and above, equipped with a range of shock-resistant technologies and high-level security features. These three hard drives are manufactured using perpendicular recording technology, achieving a data density of up to 132 Gigabits per square inch.
