On the morning of March 17, at Ly Tu Trong Park, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, the “Science Festival” was inaugurated by Horizon International Bilingual School, featuring exhibition booths on mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, literature, and information technology for middle and high school students.
The festival attracted many young visitors who engaged in practical physics and chemistry experiments, as well as various presentation topics such as: “What medium transmits sound best: solid, liquid, or gas?”, “How long can speech travel through a pipe?”, “Which material is the most malleable?”, “Mathematical errors”, and “How to preserve and promote folklore literature?”
Additionally, the festival included cultural performances and traditional dances by the school’s students. The event will conclude on March 19, 2006.
